Yes. It's not that great in the range department (too much dispersion beyond medium range), but in a steady hand and in a tight range map it's a monster. Example: On Firebase Delphi you can combine with a shotgun and use the tight corridors and short range to devastating effect. Keep your shots quick and tight and you'll wreck the other team. On Shores of Time, I don't recommend it so much. Lots of long range sight lines and decent amounts if space prompt me to switch over to a steady Auto and a good sniper. As for PvE it comes in real handy. In raids, it comes into it's own. As long as you are popping enemies into dust you don't have major worries about being killed; unless you're stupid. Short answer? Yes! Buy and upgrade!
