I'm a day one and I've just done my first Raid.
Last night, after 7 months I've finally completed a Raid! Only VOG on normal but a start is a start. I wouldn't have been able to do it without these forums so I would encourage anyone else in my position to reach out and do the same! The Raids really are the most fun you can have on Destiny.
I got a Shader and the Raid Shotgun in loot so nothing spectacular but we all have to start somewhere!

My first raid I found a bunch of people for VOG normal I was level 29 and I got Vision of Confluence, praedyths revenge and the ship plus a bunch of shards :)

Meh.[/spoiler] But later, I beat it again and got Atheon's epilogue, along with Kabr's Wrath at a checkpoint. And I also got Praedyth's revenge (if that's how you spell it) so I guess the second time really lucked out! So after that, I felt like I could do anything, so about a week later, I did it again! [spoiler]Absolutely nothing, not from a chest, not from a checkpoint, not from a kill, and not from the endgame rewards. (There is an endgame rewards thing after Atheon, it just takes a while for it to come up, quite a while. But you could get more loot!) [/spoiler]

My first raid was VoG hard and halfway through i was asked if this was my first time (i sensed a boot) thankfully team got distracted and i git vision of confluence

Congrats! i didn't raid much until TDB came out so VoG is still a little new to me even though I've finished it a few times but it's fun as hell with a good group.

Day one player here aswell, did my first raid last weekend, now I'm pumped do Crota's End and The HoW raid!

Ive played since day one and only level 29 and still done no raid. But I did change from xbox one to ps4. But never did a raid on xbox either. I'll get there one day but good set of lads I play on with ps4 I'm sure I'll get in one at some point.

I was in the same situation about a week ago and decided to jump in....I've now beat hard Atheon and normal crota twice and got the vex mythoclast today...so pumped!

Without raiding I'm assuming you play a lot of PvP. Try Found Verdict out in the crucible. I think you'll like the results.
