WTF!! Sapphire wire bug!!!
So I was about to dismantle stuff and I checked my inventory. I had 30 sapphire wire.
So I start dismantling purples, blues and green body gear. When I check the inventory my sapphire wire count was at 34!!!
I did not level anything up!!! I destroyed enough to get more than 20 sapphire wire!!! This is madness! Now I know why I have such a low amount of materials in this character!!!
HELP! ASAP!!!! NEED SAPPHIRE WIRE!

2 RepliesBest suggestion is that you dismantle when at the Orbit or any place that you are stationary. Don't dismantle while travelling to a location (where the ship is showing as travelling).

It sounds like u dismantled warlock and/or Titan armour also, which will not give you sapphire wire. So check for plasteel plating or hadronic essence.

6 RepliesUnfortunately, Bungie does not replace lost or dismantled gear for any reason. As stated [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12211]here[/url] Also you only get Sappire Wire from dismantling rare and above hunter items.

Was all your material slot full with something? Not sure if this is the issue or not. Bungie has noted on this in the past that when breaking down items, you need to have an extra open slot. Not sure why but with most things inventory wise it seems you always want to make sure to have 1 or 2 slots open.
