I've been having a lot of party splits today, first time since the update and we've only been searching 2s.

My party was getting split up during the search and we'd also have trouble getting back into the same lobby. We were mostly searching with a party of two, that's usually the most stable amount of people you can have. Since then, we have been able to search for a few hours, then the game seems to break down on us.

Odd. I've been playing with a party of three – four and haven't had any problems yet. I suggest you either check your party members' NAT types or report this issue to 343.
