Others have explained its greatness. I will say, However, that song of flame is amazing with it when your teammates take advantage of it. It was not designed to be used with self res, as doing so mean you will never really use it.

Well I think when people see a sunsinger dying they expect him to self revive

Edited by Soul_Eater_42: 3/9/2015 1:58:05 AMRather unfortunate given that Fireborn is, by far, the worst perk to use for the Sunsinger's Radiance. If you want to get the most out of the Sunsinger, use the Heart of Praxic Fire chest armor with Radiant Skin (or Song of Flame if you want to help your team), Fusion Grenade, Flame Shield, Radiant Will, and Gift of the Sun. Make sure that you have armor that boosts Intellect and Strength if HOPF already provides Discipline. You become a high powered tank that spams powerful grenades and a melee that will ensure that you don't die in the process. It's fun to kill a strike boss with grenades.

Many do, which is unfortunate

This is why I play as a nova bomb factory

I just don't care for the voidwalker subclass. It's not my forte. I love running sunsinger but I don't like being expected to self res all of the time.

The last time I used a sunsinger to generate orbs a guy sent me a message to only use radiance if I die

Yet here on the forums everyone is currently into ranting about how sunsinger's should never save their super for self res, they should use it beforehand to prevent themselves from dying in the first place Its quite a bad situation for those of us who love The subclass.
