I'm lactose intolerant as well, but I find I can still consume hard cheeses without issue most of the time. Cheddar, Swiss, Provolone, and Dubliner are all fine in any quantity, and most others I can tolerate a bit of.

Aw man. That's gotta be awful. Do lactase pills help at all?
