OMG dude. Have you ever even played VOG. It took me 3 months of playing normal once a week on two characters (average) to get two of my three characters to lvl 30. With Crotas End, I had a full set of gear on all three of my characters and enough shards to get 2 of them to lvl 33 in 4 weeks. By week 5, I had every raid weapon (except necrochasm) and all three characters were lvl 32. The drops are fine as is.

  • Can't agree there. I only got the VM finally after bungie decided to re-nerf it back to a shitbox. There's raid gear from VOG that I NEVER ended up getting. And then I get all the crota gear in 2 runs. The loot system is a liquid poo in a bucket. Lol.

some don't want to wait. simply put. I should probably add that I never played the VOG until about three weeks before crota even came out, and i got the mythoclast, the only thing i neeeded from it, the third time i played through it, and never played it again because I simply didn't want to. once i get my helmet, I'm sure it'll be the same way. sure i might help people once in a blue moon, but whats the point when you get nothing from it? thats what i'm trying to get at. the fact that no one likes to do something, namely what should be one of the milestones of bungie's game, and not be rewarded for it, but we still to a degree WANT to play the content. sometimes what breaks a team is the fact that someone's already done the raid, and simply doesn't want to do it anymore. also, just because you ran it four times and got everything you need doesn't mean everyone's going to be the same way since, as you know, the drops are random. Being 32 doesn't really mean a whole lot. i'm 32 on two chars, 31 on another, and i don't feel that it was "earned" at all because of how the loot system is set up. i feel like i just waited long enough while playing and happened to get what I wanted pre-30, and post 30 just seems to me like they just want to keep you playing to get what you want, instead of actually having you play it to have fun, if that makes any sort of sense.

  • This isnt the kind of game to get things handed to you. If you want more than 1 raid per week, make multiple characters. You can make them the same class and armor can be swapped between to expediate leveling if you have a favorite character type. If you are too lazy to make more than one character, you are too lazy to deserve more than 1 raid attempt per week.

im not lazy, my characters are different types. I can run it once for warlock, once for titan, once for hunter. twice if including normal. don't insult someone if you don't know the backstory. if your too lazy to look at my account to confirm that i have only one character, you obviously didn't read the whole post. the point isn't that i want the loot handed to me, the point is i want to acquire the gear when i feel it's deserved, not sometime down the line when the generator decides that I can have it.
