Actually... The Traveler is more of a protective casing, an ozone layer if you will. It brought atmospheres to the planets and the moon, hence why we are able to jump normal on the moon, or grow vegetation on Venus, Theory is that the Traveler created the darkness so that it would be protected by humans and exos. I believe that Originally the Awoken had a different storyline that started them in the Reef, and brought them to earth. Maybe why Jupiter and Saturn are grimoire locations? But hey, that's just a theory.... A GAME THEORY! Thanks for Reading!!

Yes in the original story line the traveler and the speaker were actually evil and the queens brother was named crow. He was part of some sort of resistance movement thingy. What I'm talking about here is the actual orgin of the traveler itself withing that giant sphere lies the original A.I core who due to it's "personality" was obsessed with space and space travel. There were multiple cores however this one made it to space and became the traveller.

Idk it was from some lore post on the forum a bit back. It may have just been a theory im not 100% sure but i know i read it lol
