I was doing the math in another post somewhere, but even if you do all that, you only end up with around a 3 to 4% chance of landing that exact exotic you want each week (that would mean getting 1.5 to 2 exotics a week). That means it could still easily take you months and months and not get what you want (25 weeks to get every exotic if you got a different exotic each time, which we already know doesn't happen). That would be about 7 hours of raiding/nightfall each week and that would be if and only if you were lucky enough to find 5 other players who were good enough at the game to just roll through both VoG and CE, which is probably a lot rarer than you think. The prize at the end of the tunnel... an exotic that is only marginally better than a legendary....

I've been rolling 2 characters since October and 3 since January. The drop rates for exotics are far better than they used to be but you are correct. Small chance of getting what you are looking for. I was really hoping to get the ghorn at least before wolves. Still grinding...

Also playing Roc strikes I landed a hard light and multitool from the vanguard Roc
-
You got pretty lucky. I don't think I've ever landed an exotic doing Roc. It at least is not consistent enough to warrant trying to figure out if the number should be 3.1% instead of 3.05%

Never

Never?

I've never gotten an exotic from a roc strike. Can't even get cool ships really...
-
I've gotten the same ship twice and no exotics. I think I did get a legendary once or twice though.
-
I grinded the hell out of them tho so it was well earned
-
As earned as anything else in this game can be ;-)

I had or have everything , but a red death (never have gotten it) , but my son gets one from deathsingers go figure lol
-
I am missing like 5 exotics...to be honest I don't really care if I get them or not.
-
Thank you lol

Hahaha I'm slitting my wrists now. Lol! I am gonna agree with you on the clan thing. These weeklies are opening my eyes to players who either really suck, or players who need direction in this game. We all thought each other back in the day. Perhaps there are still many players who still don't fully understand the mechanics? They need to join my clan.
-
That is one of the reasons I usually don't join raids unless I have a lot of time. You never really know going in whether you are going to blow through the whole thing in an hour or if 2 hours later you are still going to be fighting the Templar/Deathsinger/whatever.

Clan....

Unfortunately my schedule is not really such that I can do that regularly. One week I might not be able to game until 830 or 900 pm on Tuesday to Thursday (when 99%) of those running everything wham bam thank you ma'am clans have long since finished.
