You've been here for a long time, you remember the only time they went dark was during the awkward moment between Halo: Reach's transition to Microsoft and the announcement of Destiny. They had these same kind of Weekly What'supdates for Reach, ODST, and Halo 3. It's just here to let us, the community, know they're still doing stuff. It's an UPDATE after all, not a weekly E3 announcement.

So they make an update. Updating us that will be a update that won't be out for a while. I basically summarized the weekly update
-
That's actually the point. Now I can't say you haven't been around a while, for all I know you just lurked and made an account when destiny launched, but as I said earlier: they made one last update before they stayed silent for months telling us they were gonna be real busy and to essentially chat amongst ourselves as they did their thing.
-
Yea I've only been here since mid October 2014. So I never experienced such time. But I mean they could have mentioned at least what they would like to add instead of making me waste 5 minutes just to hear "this isn't the end. There's another update. More info later"
-
Yeah I understand that, I feel the same way. But I get their side too. If Deej tells us what's in the pipes we'll get excited but if something goes wrong with the work in progress it'll get delayed. And if they want to meet a date they promised us they'll just snip that out and ship the rest. It would make then look unorganized and lead to us as a community taking everything they say with a twenty shakers of salt. Hopefully it's worth the wait though! *crosses fingers for vault space soon*
-
But they haven't even given a date yet that's the thing. I would've been thankful for something like "and yes.. We are increasing vault space" or "yes we are adding in game lfg" just one actual informative thing other than "1.1.1 was not the last patch"
-
Don't you prefer that though? Imagine the table flipping if he said "next update due on march 16th" and come march 16 he updates again and says "well the guys encountered some cockroach leveled bugs in their code and the thing is delayed" I'm a fan of just an estimation myself, but I prefer to have a set date rather than a delayed time frame. Oh bloodborne... I should be playing you right now....
-
I wasn't asking for a date. Just you know.. What the heck those devs are coding for it..
-
Ah gotcha, I read that wrong then. Hopefully we'll get some kind of info next week.

You're right. And I remember those days. I just wish I actually enjoyed the update - le'sigh.
