My point stands about 343i shitting all over the lore. Now they killed off the Rookie? Is there anything they [i]don't[/i] ruin?

I think it should have been similar to Gage's death, cause, y'know, they were friends for about 15 minutes before Gage became nuclear waste

The Rookie dying is probably the only route they could have taken. He died as he was in the game An enigma. Appropriate yet somber...just like ODST.
