Who would win in a fight: Crota or Atheon?
Honestly forum, I think Crota would smash Atheons butt. No questions asked

3 RepliesWell if Crota walked into the vault of glass he would be lost in time because that is Atheon's realm and he has complete control over time and space. If Atheon fought Crota in Crota's palace then Atheon could knock the shields down, but would wipe when Crota enraged because of the oversoul. At a neutral site I think Atheon would win because he still controls time and space. He could banish Crota to some forgot time/ place and then go cause havoc somewhere else. Crota only has power of wizard blasts, big sword, and no health regeneration in his immediate proximity. If Crota is banished then Atheon regens health. Overall Atheon wins.

6 RepliesIn the VOG Atheon would win. It's unlikely that Crota could handle relic and kill oracles (if he could even fit through the teleporter) and then no one could open it for him. He'd be erased by time. In the hell mouth Atheon would win. Assuming that Atheon is at least level 50 compared to us, he'd kill sword bearer and then one or 2 hit Crota. On neutral ground, no sword or relic, both able to damage each other, it would be a knight vs a Minotaur. If Crota got too close, Atheon would die. At a range, Crota would die.

Here's how it would go down. ATHEON and CROTA both meet in an open field. CROTA charges to ATHEON and prepares to swing his sword, ATHEON traps CROTA in a vortex that sends CROTA to Mars. CROTA himself has never seen Mars. So he becomes disoriented by its light and heat. ATHEON stands over CROTA and kicks him in the head, snatches his sword, pins him down and points the gun to his head. CROTA pleads for mercy, but ATHEON grabs the sword and severs the head of CROTA as a prize, and walks away as a champion.

1 ReplyCrota can be solo,d..... Atheon cannot. Enough said. The fact is this no matter what ground you are on. Atheon can control time. Crota would be lost in time before he could chop enough damage without times vengeance before teleported into some random corner of time. Not being able to return crota would be lost. Atheon is the true god. Time is the ultimate weapon. The vault is nothing more than a Throne and a resting place there is nothing that suggests atheon was even inside then vault before his time of awakening. Crotas layer is nothing more than a pit for a goofy green giant and a gooey over soul.

I think crota can only be damaged by the sword in the raid because it take place in crota's world. The knights there seem to do a lot more damage than anywhere else. If the fight was on neutral ground, it may be possible to damage crota without the sword. And atheon should still be able to control time.
