Yes, but if they had released the [i]actual[/i] numbers the community would not have sat well with it. Planned to keep it quiet.

They didn't even allow comments on deej's news post. I doubt they care what the community has to say. I'm sure they knew from the get go this would be a sour update for the majority. One thing we can say is that bungie has some intestinal fortitude when it comes to how they think their weapons should work vs the community.
