How am ignoring facts? 100 years later he was normal, and dragons don't age he absorbed the Dragonballs, and even if that wasn't true he'd just wish for his youth back to continue watching over the earth.

Are you forgetting that Dragonballs don't have infinite use, also GT was a side plot. Not cannon.
