Tips and Tricks from other Guardians:
(not all are confirmed, although to me and others they worked but are not guaranteed)
1. Holding forward on the analog stick will shorten the animation time of RTs [CONFIRMED]
2. Agility slightly speeds yur melees nd RT (this includes weapons with agility such as suros or murmur)
3. Armor perks slightly increase melee speed
4.Using supers will cancel the animation on any attack [CONFIRMED]
5. To have sword super ready Titans can place a few bubles right or left of where crota spawns before activating the crystal. [CONFIRMED]
6. Shooting at crota while hes down can increase the time he stays kneeled.

lets keep trying to pinpoint Crota's health and new combos, specially combos with supers guys :)
EDIT: 273,620 is crotas health (at Max) so far if anyone can narrow down crotas health lower it be appreciated

2 RepliesFor those of you saying 2 swords is overcomplicated... its not, whats overcomplicated is not doing it in 2 swords and having to run to ogre room, kill ogres, run back to beggining room waiting for crota to crotate and do another sword.. All without dieing.

4 RepliesThis is all great info but it over complicates things. Best method is just 3 slams per down, 2 downs per sword, 3 total swords. 18 slams. In my experience, over half of the wipes are caused by your sword runner getting pwned, and 90% of the times the sword runner gets pwned are because he's trying to squeeze extra hits in and get cute. All of that is totally unnecessary. Just need (3+3), (3+3), and (3+3) heavy slams. Easy to get, easy to get away afterwards on any class, and easy to remember. This eliminates a LOT of headaches and eliminates a lot of unnecessary wipes. If you're more advanced, that's great. But most sword runners aren't. Not dienplaying all your hard work compiling that info. Great job on that. :)

3 RepliesSo, if my team takes down Crota with the rockets and pulls out the primaries and shoots Crota while he's down. Crota can stay down longer, or do we need to use more rockets?

I've only succeeded running sword once but would like to get better for emergency situations or having a group full of unwilling hunters(sorry guys but at this point your useless this is the one part of the raid your most usefull for gg guys come on no offence but your literally built for this)

1 ReplyI'd like to point out me and my friends have found if you shoot at Crota after he's down, he stays down for about an extra .5 seconds. We couldn't kill him the other night because our timing was off but we started shooting him while he was down and it gave our SwordBearer to time he needed. Don't believe me? Try it!

I'm going to actually put it at 250000. 16 slams 244000. Left with sliver add a slash at 7k n he more then dead. Why's it matter his health 3 slam every down he's dead every time without -blam!-ing up by enraging

1 ReplyAny more info on dmg done to Crota increasing kneel time? Also, question for anyone/everyone, a few times I've run sword on normal, I've jumped the gun a tad early and found myself face to face with Big Ugly. Those times that squad was using at least one Gjally with Wolfpack swirling, I was able to melee him (RT) and get him to kneel. My question is: was I actually doing the last tick of damage and lucky not TOO early timing or was the damage already done and I just beat the kneel animation?
