Taking chances with the mobile vault..?
I've been seeing and hearing things about players losing their items being transferred through the vault app.. I'm cautious when using it but its really useful at the same time as well.
-[u]UPDATE[/u]: used the mobile vault to transfer some coins and motes. Also swapped an exotic and everything went fine! 👍 thanks for the outputs!

I like it, i prefer to use my laptop though. Gotta change characters in app to move around stuff or else it goes back from the vault to the selected character and its just a pain on the phone cuz of the tiny screen, even on my note 4 which is kinda massive for a phone. Well, either way it works suprisingly well and i only thought i lost my truth once but i didnt so that was nice.

It's worked really great for me, very useful! However my friend told me he saw a post on reddit about losing your stuff if you transfer on a death screen so I only do it in orbit

4 RepliesWorks fine for me. I have transfered weapons, armor, materials, and currency. I think all the people complaining with problems are just trying to get attention and free items from Bungie. Which won't happen.

1 ReplyThe only thing that doesn't work for me is when I use the app to transfer coins or synth or exotic shards. I am unable to select a certain amount. It is all or none.

Here to test it out, and not really lose anything. Get an item from the Special Order Vendor, place it in your vault, then try it. If you lose it, you can still get it back from her. Its a good way to test it out without losing anything.

1 ReplyHas worked fine for me.. I didn't think twice about using it to move my gjallarhorn around. If said rocket launcher ever goes missing I'll simply snap my disk and give up on the game. :P

I've used it a ton with no problems. I doubt things have been lost as much as people claim.

Transfers instantly. Instant notification it arrives too when on your character. Worked perfectly since launched.

5 RepliesI use it all the time because it's addicting to watch those things appear on screen like a drop. One time I took my GHorn in and out of the vault just to watch it appear multiple times.. Lol I'm not weird trust me
