I got a ship from doing a Roc strike. But I don't think there's much else you can get differently.

Thanks for the reply... I figured about as much... I only change my ship on 1 character, keep the default on the others... not very satisfying to see three of the exact same ships on the screen, come to think of it, not very exciting about the ships at all...
