HEY! You were playing us! I was wondering if anyone would post about it.
BTW there were 4 defender titans and 2 golden guns. It is beatable, as we lost a round today to a group that did a good job of stopping us.
Let's just make sure it was us. We're they putting the bubble in a corner by the diamond hallway and the open area that leads to 'C'? In the area where there are rocks?

Edited by Lil Durk: 2/27/2015 6:55:19 AMDepending on the map and skill of the people using this strategy it can be almost impossible to beat. The gunslingers can wreck anyone who tries to super from a mile a way. The only hope would maybe be to blink and do a suicide nova bomb to take out the titan bubbles. Even then, the problem is actually getting your super in the first place. If an enemy team is doing this to you, you most likely are getting annihilated and not getting very many kills. Which means your super isn't charging for shit, even at 100% intellect. This is assuming you even have a cooperative team in the first place, and not just a bunch of -blam!-ing Christmas noobs feeding the gunslingers kills before eventually rage quitting.
-
Smh... We use a defender titan that uses death from above to clear out the titans. Helm of Inmost light works best. You can equip the aftershock perk as well that way. One sniper can take care of golden guns. If we are not on our titans we force the spawn flip and kill one guy. We don't let him make it back to the group. They starve out of orbs. Easy
-
Not easy. With blessing of light the Hunter's could easily snipe anyone who tried to snipe them first. You also didn't respond to my statement that your super would charge slow as f-ck because you would barely be getting any kills.
-
It takes 3 min to start the strategy. Plenty of time to build a super. Our GGs got 1 hit sniped all the time. It's not hard. Also did you ignore the easiest way I mentioned. Force the spawn flip and keep one out. The orbs dry up fast.

I agree this strat can be stopped. But only if your entire team is cooperating. Understand that I am a guy with chronic back problems from carrying shitty teams every day. I've literally gotten 50+ kills in a match before. I'm usually the only positive k/d on my team and the only person with kills in the double digits. I need a group to play with but all my friends in my raid group say they hate crucible and prefer pve.
-
I'd play crucible with you but the chances of you having a 360 and the patience to not kill me the moment you realize I'm an average player are pretty slim. That and a few dozen other factors.

Edited by YouKnowYouLoveMe: 2/27/2015 7:18:38 AMOnly need 2 guys... 2 guys can cause a spawn flip. 2 guys can stop one from making it back to the group. Think of it this way... it is unlikely a team of individuals will beat a team of 6 working together as a group. But with this strat, it's fun to use but a team of 2 can stop a team of 6... we have done it. It is not the smartest strategy to use... just a fun one. People here acting like it's crazy good just makes me smh... it's like the death star... looks cool, but it doesn't take much to take it out. You can try it with us and see how easy it is to stop.
-
Cool thing is it doesn't have to be golden gunner's... Got together with some buddies and did it with 4 titans and a golden gunner and a warlock (me) worked nicely
-
Nah maybe he was playing us lol
-
He confirmed bellow it was us
-
Lol yea you ain't the only one doin it lol
-
I gave him part of our names, he finished them. But yeah I've seen this used, and my buddy and I together have ruined teams doing this.
-
We lost once when learning it on control. Works much better on clash
-
We lost one on clash. Two guys did to us what we do to other teams that try this on me and my buddy.
-
We found the same thing
-
Hilarious aint it
-
what is your gamertag and i'll be able to tell you if it was you. I never said it wasn't beatable, i was just stating that it is a really bad exploit. like i said, if it became commonplace, it would just ruin the game for a lot of people. also, you lost one round out how many?
-
Edited by YouKnowYouLoveMe: 2/27/2015 6:25:15 AMTitans were (I don't have everyone's name memorized) Bootless.... Slappz Mcgee Floppz Mcgee ......business Hunters Xheadshots...... Socks..... The ..... is because I'm just putting what I remember from the names and what we call each other from our names. We lost one round of 4.
-
socks guy Xheadshot23X BootlessSn0wm4n Slapz McGee SeeriousBizness and Flopz McGee Yep, you were the exploiters.
-
Well ValorWolf2553, if you ever do chose to accept my offer, I'm sure you know how to figure out which one of those guys I am. Feel free to msg, me.

Edited by YouKnowYouLoveMe: 2/27/2015 6:36:01 AMExploiters? It's really not that hard to counter. We have taken 4 guys out of the game to allow 2 strong ones. One guy can take out the 4 titans easy. Others can team up on hunters. Also forcing spawn flips kills the strategy
-
It is an exploit and you used it. It is not cheating as it is in the game. I am not saying its an impossible thing to beat, I am simply saying that it can develop into a problem. I did a similar thing all the way back in the first iron banner, except we had no titans, just gunslingers and voidwalkers. Held B and C on mars quite well but we got bored of the ease of it.
-
But it's easy to stop.... it literally takes one titan to end it. And if you aren't one you can force a spawn flip... it's not an exploit, it takes a modest amount of extra brain cells and a simple understanding of the game to out think it.
