Ppl like you kill me. Why dismantle an exotic PERIOD??. (Unless you have obscene amounts of that exotic). This game's rewards are achieved through RNG!! So why the heck would you dismantle an exotic regardless of what type or class knowing you may never see it drop again? THROW IT IN THE VAULT!!! You never know when that gun will be useful or get buffed...You never know if you'll ever decide to make that class that you said you never would. Heck I never thought I'd make a titan but if I didn't save all the armor I got for a titan I doubt I would have made one. It blows my mind when ppl dismantle exotics for stupid reasons. A friend of mine dismantled a gjallahorn because he didn't want to pay the glimmer to upgrade it. -___- .

Dude, not to be an a$$ but I deleted 2 truth keep one and now I have 3 again Delete 3 dragons, got one in the vault and one Ghorn , I have 3 one for each player I'm always getting rocket launchers Never gotten an ice breaker by RNG Thank god XUR sold them

Lol yea some ppl are lucky enough to get constant drops of particular items but less with others. I seem to get the hardlight and Thunder Lord almost every other week. If you have multiplies then do what you gotta do. I like to keep 3 bc i hate switching weapons but I always say at least keep 1 because you never know. Ahh good old xur. I wish he would bring the heart of praxic fire. :(

Mine it's been by season Back in sept when the game came out, it used to be the sniper, I remember deleting like 15 legendary snipers, now it's the launches

I just got mine. I was considering breaking down an exotic to get a shard to max it. This thread has me rethinking that. I guess I'll just wait for Xûr. :-/

I dismantled it because I wasn't using it, and at the time (two weeks after release) I didn't see the point behind an exotic heavy weapon.

I understand but there's always a point man. I didn't like the red death bc I felt it's life regeneration effect was stupid since your health regenerates on its own anyway so I didn't use it. I also thought the warlock helmet apotheosis veil was ugly and never used it. Now both those items have become very useful for me in the crota Hard mode raid. What seemed pointless at the time is not anymore.
