Any Wii U suggestions outside of the well known Nintendo releases?

I'd ask someone else, my collection is really well known games for it. I can't wait for Splatoon though, one I've been waiting for since it was announced.

Just watched a gameplay video. That looks crazy! I also totally forgot about that Wii U screen controller. Is that controller actually innovative/useful or is it gimmicky?
