I'm seeing very little point in blocking cause it seems once you start getting mauled on you can't block at any point in by which then you don't need to anymore. I could be wrong

Ive started using the instant rise skill and its infinitely more effective in my case.

try changing the controls to C or whatever. felt better for me

Lol I just now started getting used to it. This game has hard controls to master. It took me farming one mission to understand all the controls to where I think I have figured out most all of them. But yes I'm still a little iffy on the block system.
