I love it when people hate on anime. Like come on it's just another form of entertainment (a fantastic one at that). But there will always be fanatics… just ignore the Otakus.

Zelda fan has posters, shirts, figurines = Otaku fan has posters, shirts, figurines Zelda fan knows more lore than a wiki = Otaku knows about anime the typical anime fan knows nothing about. Zelda fans might be huge fans on other things like DnD (fantasy) Elder Scrolls (elfs) = Otaku probably likes JRPG, Visual Novels, Manga and many other things from Japan like clothing and music. [b]HOWEVER[/b] Weebs are that kid who cosplay to school and never shower, wears tails and claim to be furry, are somehow bisexual, will sprinkle Japanese (improperly) into their daily English. They refuse to watch a dub even if it's good. They think that Japan has a magical gate that when they pass through it turns them into anime. They cast away where they're from and wish be Asian. I had a chart full of levels but honestly just as black people can go by African American or just American and gays can either be gay or not say, you can be an Otaku or just say you really like anime. Just don't be a weeb and the internet will not be anymore hostile than normal lol
