This is just for the English language. The periodik table kould be adjusted without a problem.

It would make science extremely difficult, having to relearn symbols, and having to relearn many Latin-derived names for elements. Fact is, that while "C" could be phased out, it would cause WAY more problems than it would solve. But... Worst of all... "C is for cookie, and cookie is for me." The Cookie Monster's song is made incorrect. And that is fu[i]c[/i]king unacceptable.
