If Xur sold Gjallahorn, wouldn't it benefit?
So many people against him selling it, Because they already have it, or they wont be able to distinguish noobs, or they dont want it to be in PvP. But if you look on the bright side...
If the majority had Gjallahorn, imagine how much more fun the game could be. So many benefits
1. More people can do raids, making you not have to search for a group as much because the people you know don't have Gjallahorn.
2. You shave time off of raids and strikes, that extra damage to Omnigul can't hurt, And kneeling Crotes Mc Gotes faster is a bonus.
3. Peoples friends will want to do raids with them (if they don't), Sometimes I've heard peoples best friends wont do Crota with them because they don't have Gjallahorn. That's just a jerk move.
4. Its not that big of a deal in PvP. Heavy only comes occasionally, and most of the time one person takes it all for themselves. The primaries like Suros, Vex, and Thorn should be the threat to you, If you have a threat.
and there's A LOT more benefits. I cant think of any non-benefits that make sense.

Gjallarhorn now isn't very needed cuz the only time we need serious dps is warpriest and we can use other exotics other than that now

If it was sold by xur i must admit the game would be faster paced then it already is. And in terms of crota getting him down, a hunger of crota or any other rocket with tracking can do the same thing. People assume they won't be allowed on raids because they don't have a ghorn but they are playing wih elitist -blam!-s. Im more interested in xur selling a red death, which would keep people alive in crota hard and be less wipes....

Like a friend of mine said I rather get it through rng and enjoy it then to buy it from xur then they patch it. A week or 2 weeks later he got the horn of crota!

The people against it generally think themselves as special or hardcore for getting one randomly. They want everybody to endure the struggle, kidding themselves in that they would have bought it from Xur too if he would have sold it before they got one.

1 ReplyI agree, it's just ridiculous that Xur has not sold it since the 2nd week. It is not game breaking, heard that same argument over ice breaker. But it is very true that you can't even get in some Raid Parties with out it. I certainly hope they haven't pulled it from his inventory, that would be a cheap slap in the communities face, if you pull it then pull Xur and no Exotic weapons should be sold. lots of new people playing and its time to sell it again.

I have no problem raiding with a good player who doesn't have gjallarhorn but a sucky player with gjallarhorn Prepare your but because you're getting kicked

The Ghorn is awesome, but it's not like you can OHK bosses with it, mine is maxed, and it still took me about 8 rockets, along with shots from my NITC & Murmer on Arc to kill Omigul in the Nightfall, I an a Ghorn owner who would love it if Xur sold it, I would buy 2 more. -
3 RepliesIt would benefit, but it would make the game a joke. Everything would be so much easier. And imagine a nightfall with Solar burn when everyone has a Gjallarhorn. The last boss would go down in seconds

Yeah it's only useful in pve, there is no legit reason why it's being called game breaking If sold. Bunch of cry babies. I don't have, probably never will, but my truth has gotten me through everything, same with arc valedictorian.

If xur sold gjallahorn ppl would complain that they arnt unique if he doesn't sell it ppl complain that they wont get it so mabye it should be erased from destiny

10 RepliesThe whole "its gonna get nerfed argument" is just an excuse people use because they want to be the ony ones with it. Its a ridiculous argument, if everyone has it, then who would complain about it needing a nerf? If you think bungies gonna nerf it because it really is too OP, they wouldve done it by now. If you think theyre gonna nerf it because everyone has it, they wouldve nerfed the icebreaker too. Saddle up and let the unlucky ones have it.
