It's OK but not the best. If you're looking for your first primary legendary, absolutely buy it. But don't compare it to the best HCs in the game lol.

  • Those aren't the best handcannons in the game. Fatebringer is, argueably, the best primary in the game.

  • Sure against thralls or during arc burn.. But any other time, I'll take thorn or even better Timur's Lash so I don't use an exotic slot. I'll admit I can't say first hand how good hawkmoon is, because Xbox, but the general consensus and what I can tell by looking at it tells me its ridiculous good. I love Fatebringer, but unless there's big mobs of thralls I use other primarys. There is no arguing that fatebringer is dope, but to bring it back to your original post the 1969 doesn't compare to it either. I'd put all 4 HCs mentioned above it. But even then, the 1969 is no slouch, it all depends on what you have available, and if you can choose any of them like I, and probably you can (minus Hawkmoon) it comes down to personal preference. I won't even try to say you're wrong and I'm right because they're all very good in their own way, and you can't go wrong with any of them.

  • I mean in general, Fatebringer would be the best primary in most situations.
