Crota can only be permanently damaged by the Sword of Crota, which no Vex can wield, let alone use effectively. Also, to those of you saying that "Atheon can just send him into the portal and be lost in the dark corners of time", you didn't read the post. It literally reads, "no 'past, present, future' bologna". Overall, Atheon is beyond screwed.
