"Re-balancing". Fancy way of saying you won't be able to 2 shot kill with your Hand Cannon (1 shot w/ a Fusion Rifle) from Scout range.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with map sizes either.

Edited by Hettar393899: 2/21/2015 7:33:28 PMObviously, given the OP, I disagree however I wanna thank you for at least responding to the point instead of just getting all panty twisted and whining like the bulk of the people with your point of view. You ARE quiet very wrong though. lol.
-
Explain how I'm wrong. Currently hand cannons, shotguns, ARs and fusion rifles all excel at close range. Currently hand cannons, ARs, fusion rifles (with the right perks), scouts and (a couple) pulse rifles excel at mid to long range. That's pretty much broken. Post patch, hand cannons, ARs and FRs will still excel from close to mid. Scouts and pulse while be better mid to long range. That's balance and the beauty of it is it won't have any real effect on PvE.
-
We'll see. Especially if people still don't use pulse rifles and they hit it again. And if people don't use pulse rifles, they WILL hit it again... at the cost of PvE. Not that it matters to a PvP player.
-
I use Pulse Rifles now lol.
-
No wonder you're in favor of the upcoming mistake, you need it to make your inferior weapon selection viable.
-
I'm tired of re-explaining this every time someone new joins the discussion. Read what's coming(your PvE comment is incorrect, btw) then read the OP, then the rest of the conversation. THAT is how you're wrong.
-
See the difference is that I can explain why you're wrong. All you can do is tell me to read the update that I was able to comprehend. You play PvE? Where are you using Fusion Rifles, ARs and hand cannons at zoomed in scout range? Oh yeah, nowhere. Not killing shielded captains with your AR and if you're using a Fusion Rifle over a sniper, you're working too hard for kills. The only place those weapons are broken is in PvP against us non shielded guardians. So bringing in that PvP effective range won't hurt their close to mid range that they're useful in PvE. That is a good thing. So if you have an actual opinion of your own in your head that you can formulate into words on a page, let's hear how you think PvE will be affected.
-
Side-note: they're applying the changed equally to all game play. You're wrong. They said so. Shut up about it.
-
No shit, Sherlock. Unfortunately your reading comprehension can't keep up with your desire to write dumb things on here.
-
Thus, your argument is both foolish, AND invalid. Thanks for not denying it. :)

Edited by Hettar393899: 2/22/2015 1:01:59 PMFor what feels like the 27th time; The problem isn't that this or that weapon is too powerful, or has too much range. The problem, is that the maps are small. So if you use a weapon that they designed to have a range x you can hit pretty much anything on that map. Now, x is reached by some hand cannons(IF you have the option to and utilize a perk) the non-bullet hose AR's, sniper scout and pulse rifles. This leads to nobody being able to really justify using pulse rifles or scout rifles. Not versatile enough, or lacking stopping power depending on which. It also leads to people that want to camp out with a sniper getting owned. Bungie wants to increase the variance of weapons one may encounter. That in and of itself is a good thing, fine. However, the proper way to do that isn't make entire classes of weapons less effective so people will bother to look at other classes. Put maps in playlists where they'll be tactically viable! Buffing a weapon or class of weapon that they've underdeveloped would be one thing. But to instead force everyone to adopt new weapons to achieve the same effects due to shortsighted map design is lazy game management that appeals to the worst of a player base and punishes the rest. NOW! If after that you --still-- don't get it, go away. I can explain till I'm blue in the face, but I can't understand it for you. You like the rampant nerfing, fine. You said so, we saw. The majority of players disagree with you, as we also see. Stop beating your foolish opinion into the ground and go advocate for them to nerf something else you get your arse kicked with. Dumb friggin children, I tell ya. Yeeesh.

All your arguments are invalid and you make no supporting statements for anything. All you do is say "nope your wrong" Thanks to you everyone here is dumber for reading your post, i award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.
-
I'm not going to make fun of the mentally retarded. Look at the posts. READ THE THREAD. READ THE PATCH NOTES. NOW GO AWAY. Illiterate prick.
-
He did read the patch notes. We all did. Unfortunately your IQ is apparently half your k/d and so you can't comprehend anything you read, you can only type you're wrong, you're wrong, you're wrong. You've been asked repeatedly how this will in anyway affect your PvE play and the only genius response you can come up with is that you think PvP maps are too small. The depths of your stupidity are truly staggering. Good luck in life, Nancy.

Next time copy/paste an argument that isn't stupid.
-
The upcoming changes, just in case you in all seriousness are suffering from some mental disability, will be applied to BOTH pve and pvp. You are not correct according to bungie, argue with them. Damn fool.
-
You don't agree. You've made that clear. You don't have to. However, unless you have a new point to raise, we're going in circles. Bring something new, or shut up about it. There -are- other threads if my point of view (which you've responded to, repetitively ad nasuem) bothers you that much.
