Just send a bunch of friend requests. Sooner or later, one of your friends will be playing the raid and you can join them. The bigger your friends list, the better the chance of that happening.

You could always join a clan or a group on the destiny app. People are always looking for guardians to join raiding parties.

That also works. It takes a bit more dedication, though, because clans expect some level of participation. PSNS Friends don't care.
