Hook ur ps3 up thru the modem and skip the router. Just worked for me and my brother good luck!

Glad to hear it! I ended up using the data transfer utility on the PS3 to essentially clone my wife's PS3 to mine. Lost my saved games and stuff but it fixed Destiny for me at least.
