I have one problem with this post: we don't know if there is a black hole at the center.
Other than that, I can't wait for this game. I've been hyped since E3! I can see myself easily wasting hundreds of hours on it.

I'd laugh. It just sucks you in and resets you're progress.

The first text box in the game appears and says something like, "Whoops, did we forget to mention the black hole? My bad." And then you're just placed on a planet without anything but another weak ship again.
