No Land Beyond Weighted too heavily
The thing keeps dropping everywhere, from Xur to Nightfalls to PvP...
Lower it's weighted drop rate...
Raise hard light/thunderlord/etc. You have the stats on which guns are owned/not owned.
Stop lying to your fans.

Bungie rng seems to be based off loot tables.. its the same as the exotic bounties where theres a set table eg. Bad juju, thorn and invective... so my theory is that it will roll pre-TDB and new TDB exotics.. so that a 50/50.. so.lets say it picks the TDB table NLB has a 1/3 chance to drop from there...this maybe why its weighted so high.. but hey thats my theory

For those who don't know, at the Death Singer cp in the Crota raid, when an exotic drops, there is a 50% chance that it will be either No Land Beyond, or Dragons Breath, everywhere else is just bad luck with RNG lol.

1 ReplyYep - I have received more NLB's and UR's than any other exotic weapon in this game. I got the UR from my first two runs in the raid I actually thought it was a garunteed drop - didn't realize no one else in my crew got such a shitty weapon. :/ My favorite though it getting an exotic from a NF [b]that you just used in the NF[/b] - always a nice kick in the balls when RNGesus says "Hey bud, you did so well with [INSERT EXOTIC HERE] I decided to give you another one" Bungie programmed RNGesus with extra trolling goodness

I always get Dragons Breath, that is a garbage rocket launcher, even though it looks totally awesome. NLB isn't that bad if you learn to use it. I've had some fun with it in the Crucible.

NLB = complete shit weapon. Complete waste of an exotic weapons slot. Check. Weighted too heavily in loot drop table. Check. Completely useless once heavy weapon ammo glitch is fixed. Check.

I don't typically complain about things like this... but seriously... Xur has had it at least three times now, and one week, I got it from the Deathsinger..... aaand then immediately after from Crota. Come on. I mean, I appreciate the the free Exotic Shards....... but come on! haha

I bump this. I've had incredible luck with most exotics getting few repeats, but this one shows up far more often than any of the others. And it's painfully obvious that this one is weighted far heavier than any other exotic weapon.
