Literally just posted this in the other one before it got moved lol ***longish read*** For me Islam is a massively unstable religion, extremists say they follow the Quran, and moderate Muslims do not do enough to counter this extremism. A possible solution is to reform the Quran, was suggested by quilliam foundation (anti extremist group) here in the UK, to take all the hate verses and anti semetic verses out if the Quran. It was met with hostility by many Muslims, but it would bring Islam up to date with the modern world and not be a 6th century which it is according to extremists. Who want to live in a 6th century world but also have all the luxuries of the west (the very thing they hate!), abit hypocritical don't you think? I live in the UK an there is a huge terror threat at the moment ( was a terror plot to bomb my local shopping centre recently, Manchester's Arndale). Not enough is being done to counter terrorism and we will be back in Iraq very soon, but once we've beaten Isis the only way to stop more extremism is for Islam to reform itself. It can then be a stable religion
