Clear your cache and cookies for the sake of troubleshooting. If signing in does not work after that, try signing in to SEN/PSN directly. Then come back to Bungie.net and try to sign in. If you can't sign in to their site directly, then it's an external issue that Bungie can't control.

  • Hello Siffow, I must ask as I have seen this numerous times before but still have no idea. What is a cookie as in the context you used?

  • From Wikipedia:
A cookie, also known as an HTTP cookie, web cookie, Internet cookie, or browser cookie, is a small piece of data sent from a website and stored in a user's web browser while the user is browsing that website. Every time the user loads the website, the browser sends the cookie back to the server to notify the website of the user's previous activity. Cookies were designed to be a reliable mechanism for websites to remember stateful information (such as items in a shopping cart) or to record the user's browsing activity (including clicking particular buttons, logging in, or recording which pages were visited by the user as far back as months or years ago).
Instructions to clear that kind of data can be found in this help article.

  • I think it’s an external issue on PSN side. I tried everything.

  • Hmm. I was able to sign in on my PSN just fine. It may be an issue with the device you're on. Try another browser (and use incognito mode) and/or device. Because I won't know the details of your setup, I'd suggest troubleshooting what might be local to your computer that might hinder signon to PSN/SEN.

I sign in on there site with no problem. It’s just when I try to sign in this site through PSN. I am currently using Apple MacBook pro. And of course safari. I’ve noticed this problem with the Destiny app… it would sign out after the app is closed. Edit: App worked fine after a few updates though.

  • I'll keep looking into it, but I don't have a fix for you at the moment, as I can't get it to replicate on my end with my Mac or PC.

  • Well, it’s not a real big problem. I can get around it easily. Just wanting to know if it’s something on my end or another.
