This isn't the first time they have done this and won't be the last. The DLC is 15$ so if you're an avid player it's worth the buy. If you want to continue to play this game without barriers, buy the DLC. If not, find another game and stop complaining on forums. There is no need to get your thong stuck in your asshole every week they do this. Also if you have the DLC what's the point of complaining? It's a nightfall, they aren't forcing you to do it.

  • Just because I mention players being locked out of high level content, does not mean I am one of them. Also, yes I do realize it probably won't be the last time bungie does this crap. Because they can, we let them get away with it. We as a player base are the reason they continue to do this BS.

  • If I had to guess I'd say it's more Activision than Bungie. I don't think Bungie wants to be locking stuff from people but it's in their contract with Activision. Activision has a tendency to milk players for their money.

  • Activision or bungie or whoever, regardless we are letting a group of money whoring bastards get away with it.

  • There isn't much of a choice. Either you don't buy it and get locked out or you buy it so you can experience the game to the fullest.

  • If a large proportion of the players refuse to buy, and yes get locked out of content. A message will be sent to both Activision and bungie, saying that we will not put up with these tactics being used to force players to pay for DLC.
