12 light per level.
Crota end raid drops 36 light gear, that's 3 levels per piece (maxed), 4 pieces in total that's 12 levels above 20 (32).
Sorry lots of numbers, hopefully gives a little guidance on whether to level up your gear.
Btw: crota end raid is currently the ONLY place that drops 36 light gear (aside from exotics and the occasional iron banner event)
