Fatebringer is my favourite gun, but it's rubbish for oracles.

Fatebringer is fine for oracles on normal. It doesn't do enough dps on hard.

Got my 1st Fatebringer saturday night spent Sunday leveling it up..... Hit 300 last night, OMG I love this gun!! Also got Praetorian Foil will leveling it up this week. Other than Oracle Disruptor not sure it will be better than other Solar fusion rifles that I currently have. I have Dead Orbits Fusion....Final Rest II and it's a beast.

Then stick with the VOG weapons you do have, and if your a first timer max out a fusion rifle or LMG. I don't have the praetorian foil, I've seen two people with it, I don't think it's ever dropped for anyone in my raid teams It's the rarest VOG weapon

I've run both on hard mode and I actually prefer the VoC to the Fatebringer for oracles. To each their own though.
