Lol any rocket will do that ghorn does WAY more damage so yes it's wonderful everyone needs one

Understanding that any launcher has the same hazard...but the near-invincible reputation will begin to go away the week after Xur first sells them and people understand that A) you have to give up an exotic slot for it, and B) they are expensive to feed. It really is like owning an exotic pet. Thunderlord is the same way, I rarely equip it and almost never get to fire it when I do have it on. Ice Breaker is by far more useful, since it feeds itself.

I have a maxed LDR, and almost never use an icebreaker because it takes up an exotic slot

Wrong. Grab an ldr5001 and you'll almost forget about icebreaker. The you can have ghorn equipped and be a monster.

I had 3 LDRs. They're fine rifles, but they're not Ice Breakers.

But look at the damage they put out. It's a couple hundred below ice breaker and doesn't take up an exotic slot. Not to mention your shoot double the amount of LDR rounds in the time you can shoot IB rounds. Dps goes to ldr and almost any other sniper rifle. The ib is a great tool to have but I only use it when I'm out of ammo to regen and then switch back to the sniper I want to shoot.
