I don't see any legitimate data in this post. There are plenty of sociological and psychological reasons to be explored here, and I see nothing of the sort here.

Yes there is, and I point out that fact in saying "There's TONS of available literature on the matter." Meaning that if it's that important for you to have concrete facts, all you have to do is look for them. It's not my responsibility to lead you by the hand to them. I've done plenty of research on the subject. And just to spite your condescending outlook, I did link 3 such articles in the OP that offer 3 branches to the same tree that is the gist of the post. One of which being an actual book that I hardly doubt anyone will actually read...even though it's there, in it's entirety. Which only further substantiates the very point I'm making.

I wish I could use those sources for school papers.. but I doubt any of my professors would approve :/. They have awesome ads and click bait at the bottom of the page should I want to research how to save money on my car insurance. I'm done though now. Try looking into some sociological or psychological studies on the subject of male performance in schools if you want some good information rather than click bait sites.
