Sounds interesting, but I think you're giving Bungie more credit than they deserve. It's not unusual for someone to try to make sense out of nothing...I believe there's a word for that.
Anyways, I believe a developed story is the last thing Bungie is worried about, especially with a bunch of people like yourself trying to make a story for them.
Interesting stuff though.

Or...Bungie thought it would be smart to include a hidden story that nearly no one would ever figure out...that makes more sense.

Or the game was cut up by their publishers once they made enough money on preorders so they could make even more by selling it back. There are a ton of possibilities, but I don't think this is solely on Bungie, at least I hope not. There's way too much hidden away for it to be nothing, especially with characters like the Exo Stranger and the Queen.
