It only exists if you make it. It differs from place to place. For example, where I live if you sleep around you are slut shamed no matter which gender.

You have already stated you are aware of slut-shaming, don't you instead want examples of the dichotomy, the fact that slut and stud have the same meaning yet opposite connotations? You can find that anywhere m8 (such as the lad bible!) Let's take two popular movies of recent years, Iron Man and Batman Begins. In both films the title characters are seen with multiple women and this is regarded as enviable and "damn, look at them". Women who sleep with lots of men as they do women? Sluts. [spoiler]inb4 THAT'S NOT REAL, it's representative of how these issues are shown in our culture[/spoiler]

I think you fail to understand where the slut/stud thing came from. Actually, biologically speaking, not slut shaming is technically unnatural.

No, I'm saying that it's an issue that is fabricated in our minds. In my mind, it doesn't exist in society. In yours, it obviously does. Regardless, I never denied it existed in our minds, only in society. Like I already said, you see what you want to see. More importantly, why is it a valid reason that you should join feminism instead of egalitarianism? The only reason I can think of is because you don't believe men have any problems, at least none as big as being harassed. But enlighten me. Inb4poisoningthewell
