What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Once again, someone who merely insults the post without defining what is wrong. Do you enjoy making no sense?

Nono, literally every paragraph you wrote is wrong. I, and many others like me, have quite a lot of items, have grinded for quite a few more, and have no problem with a trading system being implemented. The number of possible items is mostly irrelevant and Destiny has plenty to make a robust trading system viable. Indeed there's enough currencies alone to make a viable trading system based just off that Your cute edit excludes exotics and those are some of the most sought after items. People already have grinded for 5 months to get certain exotics with no luck. After awhile you stop playing because what's the point? Bungie won't give us trading for the same reason they won't give is more vault space or change xur to be less streaky. And that reason is wtf knows. Their ways are mysterious and bass ackwards. Meanwhile, grinding isn't content, and as the RNG forces that realization on people they will slide away. Meanwhile, your insult suggesting that those who don't think they should have to kill a boss 3 times a week for a 6 weeks straight and more know very well what a reset is believe me. It's even worse when they see a friend get the drop they're looking for every single one of those weeks (sucks for the friend too). Finally, let's not kid ourselves, this isn't a game where loot is decided by dedication. What you get is based entirely on the roll of the dice. You can get a legendary engram in the wild and have it turn into a gjallarhorn. You can do the nightfall three times a week and get nothing but ascendant materials and strange coins. As for RMT, bring it. The hypothetical risk is worth it imo. Remember that for anyone to get anything they want, they first have to find someone willing to sell it to them, which means someone has to actually, you know, go get the stuff. A trading system isn't suddenly going to make ghorns rain from the skies. And that's in the worst case scenario. Why do people always act like there's no such thing as restricted trading in other games? There's plenty of games with their own economies which nevertheless severely limit trading of things like raid gear. I agree it won't happen, but it absolutely should. Nothing you've written is anything but the same typical alarmist crap that springs up whenever people talk about trading. It's either ignorance or fear-mongering.

Edited by Luna: 2/12/2015 7:36:54 AMI don't care whether it is added or not, im explaining a couple viable reasons why it WONT be.

No you're describing what you think are valid reasons why it won't work, and every single one of them is crap and shows not only an unfortunate ignorance of other games, which is fine, but a crippling lack of imagination. None of the reasons you've given are actually valid reasons why a trading system wouldn't work. There are, buried in there, some valid concerns, but all of them can be easily addressed. I know this because there have been games which addressed such concerns. In the meantime, you wanted me to detail what was wrong with your post and I have done. As for whether they will or won't. They won't, and not for any of your reasons but rather just because.

Bungie won't add it, a reason why is clearly because it wouldn't draw out the game, which they are trying so hard to do. Exotics were taken out of the equation due to xur being a major variable.

The funny thing is he actually thinks he's smart - and that he's stating facts - not just an idiot's opinion.
