The bigger problem, I'm sure has been mentioned is cheating/duping. Want to use a game close to Destiny as an example? Borderlands, it's crazy the amount of user made and duped items.

Every game deals with it and every developer must work to solve it Bungie doesn't want to spend time/resources solving dupes/cheats so they refuse to allow trading right out the gate? This is an example of laziness.

Hundreds of games have trading without duping. You're comparing a game like borderlands to an MMO with dedicated servers? Duping is a non issue.

Just didn't get lucky- I would have happily given or traded one away between my fire team. I'm not to lazy or a sht player. Just luck of the draw. I would share that any day.

That would be legit. The thing is one person gets 1, then they dupe it for a few friends who dupe it for a few friends.

No just one item for another item. If you trade that - there goes that item. No dupes and make it hard for that eBay type of currency. Weapons for real dosh ect
