THE BIGGEST CHOKE EVER!
This was the most aggravating time I have [b]ever[/b] had during this raid. This was a team full of 32's and two 31's, this was our 3rd or 4th attempt at it.
Our sword got to the SwordBearer pretty late, so he tried to jump straight at Crota from the bottom middle. He struggled and missed a couple of hits. We ended up dying from the sword's disappearance during Crota's oversoul.
The video will show just how close we were to killing him. Sorry for no audio, don't know what happened there.

1 ReplyThat was unfortunate. Only thing worse than timing issues are thralls killing someone from inside glass as sword bearer is finishing crota...watching him stand up one hit away from death sucks

2 RepliesThat's why, when you get to the last sword (after the ogres) take 2 guardians to kill Crota. The main guy hits Crota, he engrages, if he's killed the 2nd guy (who's hiding on the platforms where swordbearer jumps from) then jumps up while the remaining guardians down dickface for the last time. Boom, boom. Done. It works every time with this strategy.

Last night was a very frustrating run. Blew through it up until Crota and then the glitches were just obscene. Crota standing right back up, missing sword bearer swords. boomers and Hallowed knights teleporting around. I can honestly say that they team did fantastic. The only idiot move was by me. After two hours, we went to orbit to grab a quick break, went back in and put him down in about 9 minutes. Glitch free. The glitches are to the point that I will not run it peak hours Tuesday's any longer. Crappy servers and heavy traffic make for rough runs.

I killed crota last week just as the oversoul exploded and killed us all. it ended, we were all dead and we got loot :D. I don't remember what caused it to take so long to bring him down, but it was scary haha.
