Stuck with Thorn Bounty, any help?
Hallo guardians,
Im want to ask my fellow guardians if someone would be kind enough to help me with the Thorn Bounty pvp section, 500 void damage. I have this bounty a long time and think its Just sad too see the bounty almost done But not finished. It Just sits there in my inventory, in dust.....
Im Just a casual gamer, 30+ yr old, and suck at pvp. But on the other hand i would love to have that gun.
Is there a way to cheese if needed?
Any help would be very apreciated!

Edit 3: i made it, 500 void damage is finishen, legit way, im so happy. Now i only have to complete the last step: kill Xyor. Are there some friendly Guardians out there willing to help killing Xyor?
Edit 2: Doing it the legit way. Playing control, had a few Games with ratio above 3.0 so i Hope to finish it today! Using a fusion rifle and RL. Maybe some good players willing to join me in control Games? Would help to have good teammates that i can follow :)

Edit: Best way to cheese is to have some friends help out in PvP. Unfortunaly my friends dont play First person Games, more Games like gta 5, Unity etc. So are there some friendly Guardians who i can shoot down and dont feel bad about it? :)

This first time I did the bounty, I used a fusion rifle and a void heavy machine gun (Corrective measure is amazing for this). Now I use Atheon's epilogue as my primary.

I have this bounty and pocket infinity to do. I've already done the thir. Bounty once. As much as I hate camping that's what I did to reach my 500. At the time all I had was a sniper rifle. Now I have atheon epilogue and a few others to make it go by a little faster.

Use a void shotgun. Shotguns are op to the point that they break PvP. So use that to your advantage. You only need to go 1 for 1 on your KDR to maintain a steady gain.

3 RepliesAdd me if you're on ps4. Me and a couple of my buddies are at the pvp part and you can join us if you want. Mine is collecting dust too but only because I hate pvp and I already have Thorn. I just want another for my alternate character. Luckily for me though I have Atheons Epilogue, Trolley Problem (void) and a void launcher. We're all over 30 as well.

Get your best buds together and go do some free for all. Ie they let u kill them over n over until done ;)

I have that bounty too but I don't even have a good void weapon. Once I have a void shotty or primary I'll start plugging away.

1 ReplyEdited by caldari_warrior: 1/31/2015 10:13:04 PMI had the same problem as you. The thorn bounty sat for months because I suck at pvp. Here is how I did it. I had Athens epilogue as a primary. You're not going to get the majority of your kills with it, but it's nice to have as an option. I also had a void shotgun. I was using the judgement shotgun from new monarchy. Also have a void lmg. You have a hunter, so ill assume you have the bounty on that toon. Use blade dancer and use invisibility. Camp the control points, but not on the control points, just off to the side. When people rush in to capture the point they'll be on guard for the first few seconds but then they relax. That it when you take aim and shoot. Also, corners are good to camp. Watch the radar and when you see someone approaching your corner get ready and ambush them. I played mostly on the dark below control maps. Skyshock is good because it's easy to camp c and the heavy ammo spawn closest c so you'll always get heavy. Completing the bounty is worth it. Thorn is an amazing gun. If you're on Xbox one, add me and I'll help with the last part whereby of have to kill xyor.

Boosting is wrong. There's a reason why there's a bounty. Either you deserve the weapon or you don't.

3 RepliesWell I suck at PvP and I did it in about 6 and a half games, solo, just whip out a void shotgun and go control. If you need a fireteam to beat it that seems a little sad as I said I am horrible at Crucible.
