what deej wanted and how the game was programed are a bit different. still, even as it is, you have to do something to get the gear. you can only get raid guns and armor in raids. exotics mostly come from raids, nightfalls or xur which is a weekly strike. if trading was involved i think the number or players would go down as many people seem to only play to get something, once they had that, well, they would move on.
