There are already so many stories of people earning their gear on here... except they are seldom told by the person with a 0.14KD or 3 kills in the nightfall who got a Gjallarhorn, and are more often told by the people in that same game with a 25KD or 250 kills and got 2 ascendant shards.
Hold on, was this the way bungie had envisioned us playing?
