Got a DLC weapon without buying the DLC
Just recently in iron banner I got the Exotic weapon No Land Beyond (yes I know the weapon stinks) but I did not buy the DLC The Dark Below. I was wondering if this is a glitch that you can get DLC exclusive items without buying DLC, or is this how Bungie intended it to be.

1 ReplyEverything in the dlc was actually downloaded on to everyone's system in the big patch. All the new vanguard and crucible gear, and exotic weapons. What people paid for access to the new missions, strikes, and raid. All the gears that isn't raid gear isn't apart of the dlc.

All the dlc items can be gotten without the dlc except for murmur and raid gear.

You can actually still get dlc weapons even if you lack dark below its just the content you can't access.

6 RepliesI'm curious to how you played the iron banner? I thought it was only for those with dark below since the dark below maps are in the rotation? Also, the only "dlc" weapons are those that are in the raid. Everything else can be bought or found in the vanilla game
