Why is the Gjallarhorn considered good?

Best exotic in Destiny…Anybody who argues that its not doesn't have one...

Simply because it is good. It is a ludicrously effective rocket launcher with great reload speed. It is like unlocking god mode.

It's plain and simple. The originally fired rocket does the most damage of any single rocket in the game and when upgraded it is followed by Wolfpack rounds which do as much almost or just as much damage as the initial rocket shot! Essentially doing 2X the damage with one rocket shot.

It's obvious you don't have one. Other wise you wouldn't be asking this question. Then again, you could just be bored. Six Level 30s packing fully upgraded G-Horns killed Atheon in one teleport. Show me another RL prior to TDB that can do that.

Does 8k per rocket. This is double what any weapon can do.

Highest damage in the game.

Tracking, high damage, wolf pack rounds. It shreds bosses pretty easily, and a huge help on any fire team. That being said, other weapons are good too in there own right, but it is a boss killer.

I have one, but will very rarely not use an exotic primary. However the tracking is pretty cool when ive used it and need to get wolf pack rounds.

Cos it is just plain and simple wolf pack perk makes it so good plus everyone wants it
