I might have a different opinion if we couldn't trade our maxed out weapons and armor between all of our characters. The fact that we can, makes trading redundant. I know that people want exotics that they just can't get, but that is one of the impulses that this game provides. Once people have everything they want they will quit. It really is that simple.
