Bungie, just make Cryptarch packages blue in the next update.
Since all we get are blues from them, of course. They're just like blue engrams! Tiny chance of getting a purple.

5 RepliesIDK if this is true or not but it seems the higher the cryptarch level the better the rewards from engrams... i have been getting legendaries from blues like crazy and exotics from purples too.... i am a cryptarch level 27

My cryptarch is level 72 and after level 30 I generally only get 2-3 blue engrams. I'll get a legendary Engram every 5-10 levels.

I maybe have 2 legendary engrams from 20+ legendary packages since the patch. Not complaining just the truth. Even at rank 14 with Dead Orbit, all I get is one strange coin, one more of light...one gun this whole time lol

They said they changed it, but there seems to be only a small increase in chance for purples.They should either guarantee purples or increase the chance for purples again. I vote for increasing the chance because grinding cryptarc rank is pretty simples. Another change they need to make is that purples should NEVER change to Ascendant materials. We should at least get the option to dismantle the item ourselves. Blues should still dismantle to Strange Coins and Motes however, because those are more useful than the blue items themselves.
